The big international crafts fair held every December in the Fieramilano halls at Rho. It is outside the city, but it is the largest Christmas market in the Milan area: in 2025 about 2,800 exhibitors from 90 countries and around a million visitors over nine days. Entry is free.

The 2026 winter edition runs from Saturday 5 to Sunday 13 December, across the Sant'Ambrogio and Immaculate Conception holidays. In 2026 the fair also had a smaller summer preview, from 29 May to 2 June.
What you'll find
Craft stalls grouped by country and by Italian region: textiles, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, cosmetics, homeware and plenty of food, with areas serving dishes from around the world. For many Milanese it is where Christmas shopping gets done.
Entry and opening hours
Entry is free, with a personal pass to download from the official site before you go. In 2025 the fair was open every day from 10:00 to 22:30; the 2026 hours are confirmed on the official site.
Getting there and when to go
Take the M1 to its Rho Fiera terminus, which is also served by suburban and regional trains. With about a million visitors in nine days, the two weekends are the busiest: go on a weekday if you can.
