The project

Markets of Milan is an independent, unofficial project built and maintained by Roberto Salodini, made to answer a simple question: which neighborhood market is open today, where, and at what time. The site brings together data on all 85 weekly open-air neighborhood markets in Milan, filterable by day and district, with an interactive map and a dedicated page for each market.

The data

The information published here — day, hours, area, number of stalls — comes from the City of Milan's open data portal (CC-BY licence) and is updated periodically. The individual market descriptions, where present, are written by hand from verifiable public sources, not auto-generated.

Unofficial

Markets of Milan is not a service of the City of Milan and is not affiliated with any public body. For official information about market relocations, suspensions or changes, refer to the City of Milan's own website.
