Parco di Trenno

One of the largest parks on the west side, built in the 1970s with a simple design: big flat meadows, rows of trees, a few copses. Fifty-seven hectares that in summer become a grass beach for the San Siro district.
It is a favourite with dog owners for the open space, and hosts pick-up football games, kites and picnics. On its edge is the Campo della Gloria, a memorial to those who died in the Resistance, within the Cimitero Maggiore.
