The neighbourhood
This is the south-eastern belt towards Linate airport. Taliedo held Milan's first airfield, in the early 1900s. The large Parco Forlanini, with its meadows, ponds and farmsteads, separates the quarter from the runway.
The area has two markets: via Barigozzi on Tuesday and via Ungheria on Thursday. Both are local neighbourhood markets, with food stalls and general traders.
