Markets in Lodi - Corvetto

2 weekly neighbourhood markets in this area.

For each one you get the day, hours, number of stalls and its location on the map. The area covers Lodi and Corvetto.

The neighbourhood

Corvetto and the piazzale Lodi area are the working-class south-east of Milan, grown along the via Emilia and around the Porta Vittoria rail yard.

It is a working-class, multi-ethnic quarter, with big tenement blocks and courtyards, and it is at the centre of regeneration plans.

The markets

The via Mompiani market is on Tuesday, the via Oglio one on Saturday. They are busy neighbourhood markets, with cheap food stalls and a large clothing and household section.

Around

The Parco Alessandrini and the Parco delle Memorie Industriali give the area some breathing space. The M3 (Lodi T.I.B.B., Brenta, Corvetto) reaches the centre in minutes; the Fondazione Prada is halfway towards Porta Romana.
