Markets in Città Studi

4 weekly neighbourhood markets in this area.

For each one you get the day, hours, number of stalls and its location on the map.

The neighbourhood

Città Studi is the university quarter: the Politecnico, the science faculties of the Statale, the research institutes.

Built in the 1920s as an academic citadel, it is now a quiet residential district with many students and a well-rooted fabric of shops and markets.

Four markets a week

The area has four neighbourhood markets, almost one for every useful day: Moretto da Brescia on Monday, Ampère on Thursday, Canaletto on Friday and Valvassori Peroni on Saturday. They are solid local markets, with food stalls and general traders.

Around

Città Studi is served by the M2 (Piola, Lambrate) and many surface lines. For a green break there is the Guastalla garden, a little further towards the centre, or the large Parco Lambro to the east.
