The neighbourhood
This is the part of the centre between the Colonne di San Lorenzo, the basilica of Sant'Eustorgio and the line of the old Conca del Naviglio, where water once entered the city. An area of early Christian churches, evening nightlife and parks.
The area has two markets: via Calatafimi on Thursday and viale Tibaldi / Tabacchi on Saturday. The Parco delle Basiliche, between Sant'Eustorgio and San Lorenzo, is a short walk away.
