The neighbourhood
San Cristoforo sits on the Naviglio Grande, at the south-western exit of the city, around the small church of San Cristoforo sul Naviglio, one of the most photographed spots on the Navigli. Moncucco is the more inland part, towards the Giambellino.
The area has two markets: via Ettore Ponti on Monday and via Curiel on Friday. Both are local neighbourhood markets. San Cristoforo station is the new southern terminus of the M4.
