Forze Armate takes its name from the long road that runs from the San Siro quarter towards Baggio, cutting across the western sector of the city. It is a dense residential area, with a lot of social housing and a practical neighbourhood life.

The area has four markets a week: via Palmi on Monday, Arioli Venegoni on Tuesday, Bentivoglio on Wednesday and via Fratelli di Dio on Friday. Almost one for every useful day.
