Markets in Buenos Aires - Porta Venezia - Porta Monforte

3 weekly neighbourhood markets in this area.

For each one you get the day, hours, number of stalls and its location on the map. The area covers Buenos Aires, Porta Venezia and Porta Monforte.

The neighbourhood

Corso Buenos Aires is one of the longest shopping streets in Europe, a mile and a half of shops from Porta Venezia to piazzale Loreto.

Porta Venezia, with its Liberty villas and the Giardini Montanelli, is now the most cosmopolitan and lively quarter in the city.

The markets

The via Benedetto Marcello market, Tuesday and Saturday, is one of the largest and best-loved in Milan: a huge food section, with a fishmonger, cheese and deli stalls. Eustachi on Tuesday and Kramer on Monday round out the area.

Around

The Giardini Montanelli hold the Natural History Museum, the Planetarium and, in winter, the Villaggio delle Meraviglie with its ice rink, covered in the Christmas markets guide. Metro M1 (Porta Venezia, Lima) and the suburban rail.
